📖 About the Toyger
The Toyger was created by Judy Sugden — daughter of Jean Mill (creator of the Bengal). Sugden noticed a domestic shorthair with vertical striping on its temples and began breeding for a cat that looked like a miniature tiger. The goal: conservation awareness — if people have a "toy tiger" at home, they might care more about saving real tigers. TICA recognized in 2007. ZERO wild DNA — 100% domestic. Bold, broken, VERTICAL stripes on bright orange background (unique among cats). One of the rarest, most expensive breeds. HCM screening recommended.
